This summer I know many of us at camp had thoughts of Katie in the back of our minds. It seemed that we had a sharper focus, a more caring attitude, and put more of ourselves & our hearts into what we were doing. Because we weren’t taking as much for granted. And one thing I learned from Katie was take wayyy too many pictures, and so I did. 🙂
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” -Matthew 7:7-11
Reading. Bible Quiz coaching. Being alone. Being with people. Eating my first, and probably last (sorry Jonathan) “Doritos locos taco” or whatever. Having major loads of fun with kids. Walking by faith. Making crafts. And other Adventures.
I’m so thankful for all of it. It’s been a great, fun summer. (Well at least, so far- we still have Birthday Week to get through before summer is really over!)
